Clear terms before release.
Music production projects can involve different rights and commercial structures. Before a project moves into final delivery or commercial release, the applicable agreement should identify the scope of work, producer fee, revisions, deliverables, production credits, master rights, publishing or songwriting splits where applicable, producer royalty or points where applicable, permitted use, exclusivity, stems or session-file delivery and any additional project-specific terms.
Submitting a Production Brief does not transfer ownership of the artist’s music or create a label, publishing, management or representation relationship.
