The Challenge

Any song. One high note. Hit it.

Record one continuous vertical performance of no more than 30 seconds. Sing any song and include one clearly identifiable high note as part of the musical phrase. We are looking for vocal control, pitch accuracy, musicality and a performance people want to replay.

Your entry may be a cappella or use accompaniment, but your live lead vocal must remain clear and audible.

The high note should feel earned, not pasted on. Choose a key and section that suit your voice, establish the musical phrase quickly, and let the note show control, intention and personality.

Duplicate, automated, purchased, incentivized or manipulated ratings may be removed. Audience response contributes to the result but does not determine the winner by itself.

This is a skill-based challenge. Final score: 70% Starrality panel and 30% verified Audience Score. In a tie, the higher panel score prevails; any further tie is resolved by the higher Pitch Accuracy score, subject to the Official Rules.

Post your qualifying video first, then paste the public social-video link below. Eligible entries must be received no later than September 10, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET. The post must remain public through winner verification.

You do not need to know the exact pitch. Describe where the note occurs if helpful.
Performance integrity: Natural room reverb, compression, EQ and volume balancing are allowed. Pitch correction, vocal tuning, stitched vocal takes, lip-syncing, AI-generated or AI-replaced lead vocals, and misleading speed/pitch changes are not allowed.

This is a skill-based vocal performance challenge. No purchase is necessary. A qualifying entry must be submitted by the published deadline and remain publicly accessible through winner verification. The $100 prize is subject to eligibility, verification, applicable taxes, payment availability and the complete Official Rules. Starrality may disqualify late, incomplete, inaccessible, manipulated, unsafe or rights-infringing submissions.

Official Rules

Know the terms before you sing.

Eligibility. Entrants must be at least 18 years old and satisfy all residency and eligibility requirements stated in the complete Official Rules.

Entry. Submit one vertical vocal-performance video no longer than 30 seconds. It must contain one clearly identifiable high note performed live by the entrant.

Authenticity. The entry must be one continuous vocal take. Pitch correction, vocal tuning, stitched vocal takes, lip-syncing, AI-generated or AI-replaced lead vocals, and misleading speed or pitch changes are prohibited. Permitted processing may include reasonable EQ, compression, volume balancing and natural room reverb that do not alter pitch or replace the performance.

Music. Original songs and covers are permitted, subject to platform music-use rules and the complete Official Rules. Entrants are responsible for any permissions required for their performance, accompaniment and public post.

Judging. Eligible entries are scored on Pitch Accuracy, Vocal Control, Tone Quality, Musicality and Performance Impact. The final score is 70% Starrality panel and 30% verified Audience Score.

Audience integrity. Starrality may require verification, limit ratings, and remove duplicate, automated, purchased, incentivized, fraudulent or manipulated activity.

Prize. One verified Grand Prize winner receives $100 by a payment method approved by Starrality. Taxes, transaction requirements and winner verification are governed by the complete Official Rules.
